Description du poste : Le centre est présentement à la recherche d'une personne étudiante pour coordonner les activités du jardin communautaire à Bedford.
Principales Responsabilités
Organiser et répartir les tâches du jardin entre les membres jardiniers, les personnes bénévoles et les partenaires. Coordonner la présence et les activités sur le site. Assurer la redistribution des surplus alimentaires vers le Frigo-Partage. Animer des ateliers et participer à des activités pour la population. Communiquer avec le comité du jardin et veiller à ce que le lieu reste convivial et accueillant.
Exigences
Expérience pertinente en jardinage, horticulture ou agriculture. Autonomie, sens de l'organisation et excellentes habiletés de communication. Maîtrise du français et de l'anglais (bilinguisme).
Atouts
Posséder un véhicule et un permis de conduire valide. Expérience en animation de groupes, bénévolat ou mobilisation citoyenne.
Conditions
Salaire : À partir de 20 $ de l'heure. Horaire : 30 heures par semaine. Durée : Contrat d'un maximum de 16 semaines. Entrée en poste : De mai à la fin août.

The UPA is a professional farmers’ union. Its purpose and actions are based on certain values: respect for people, solidarity, collective action, social justice, fairness, and democracy.

With 92 locals, 12 regional federations, its 159 unions, and 26 specialized groups, the UPA is the only official body that speaks on behalf of all Quebec farm and forestry producers. The UPA unites farmers in two ways: based on where they live (“general sector”) and what they produce (“specialized sector”).
