The primary responsibility is to assist the Summer Play Coordinator in planning, leading, instructing, and evaluate diverse and inclusive sport, culture and recreation activities for children. Specifically, 5- 12 years of age. Duties:- Supervise Summer Play activities at the White City Community Centre, ensuring the care, safety, and security of both employees and participants.- Plan, lead, instruct, and evaluate a variety of diverse and inclusive sports, cultural, and recreational activities for children, specifically ages 5-12.- Assist the Program Coordinator in maintaining accurate records, including incident reports, participant medical information, and code of conduct warnings.- Implement appropriate behavior management strategies while supervising participants.- Collaborate with program partners and volunteers to ensure smooth program delivery.- Ensure compliance with all Town of White City policies and procedures.- Work closely with the Program Coordinator and fellow Program Leader to plan, lead, instruct, and evaluate the program.- Perform other related duties as assigned.
