About the role
MDR Strategy Group is seeking a Student Editorial Director to oversee production of the next issue of The Registrar Magazine, scheduled for publication in August 2026.This is an exceptional opportunity for a recent journalism graduate (within the last three years) or a student entering their final year of study to lead the end-to-end production of a Canadian publication for professionals who protect the public through professional regulation.Published by MDR Strategy Group, The Registrar Magazine features human interest stories, interviews, thought leadership, analysis, and feature stories exploring the evolving challenges and opportunities facing regulators, governments, and organizations operating in the public interest. As MDR continues expanding its international footprint, the magazine is also increasingly focused on stories, perspectives, and emerging issues from around the world.The successful candidate will work directly with MDR's leadership team and contributors to coordinate the editorial process from start to finish, including story planning, research, interviewing, writing coordination, production management, publication preparation, and distribution support.This is not a passive internship.
