The Position:

Reporting to the Campus Shop Associate, the Student Helper will assist in the campus shop with year-end inventory and preparation for the coming school year. This position starts the first week of July and also works in August prior to the start of the school year.

Key Responsibilities and Expectations:

  • Receiving, counting, pricing, and stocking inventory.

  • Organizing and displaying of merchandise.

  • Assisting customers with finding sizes and with uniform fittings.

  • Process payments and refunds.

  • Must be available to work in the shop when it reopens in August.

The successful candidate will have the following skills, background and interests:

  • Must be a current SMUS Senior School student and legally allowed to work in Canada.

  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.

  • Detail-oriented, with strong organizational skills.

  • Enthusiastic, energetic, a self-starter with the ability to work independently and within a team environment.

  • Basic computer skills.

Rate of Pay:

$18.25 per hour
