Summer Student - Business
Reporting to the Sales & Marketing Manager, the Summer Student - Business acts as the back end administrative support for the Marketing Department.
This individual will work out of the YPM Corporate office at 392 Colborne, London Ontario.
This position is expected to work 40 hours a week during the summer season.
Priorities change regularly in this position and the successful candidate must be flexible and willing to change priorities as required.
Responsibilities

  • Post apartment ads on marketing sites such as kijiji and facebook

  • Update tracking systems and monitor databases

  • Updating ads on 5 platforms based on the updates on the vacancy reports

  • Managing the Face Book Ads

  • Uploading new ads (remainder of properties) to Zillow & FB

  • Complete virtual staging for the balance of the properties on the provided list and re-post on all platforms

Special Projects

  • Assist with compiling welcome packages for new buildings and new residents

  • Assist with developing social media content

Other duties as assigned.
The successful candidate must demonstrate the following knowledge, skills and experience:

  • Ability to use and/or learn how to use new technology

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy on documentation

  • Excellent customer service

  • Effective verbal and listening communication skills

  • Currently enrolled in a business program at a post secondary institution in Ontario
