Job Description

The IT Coordinator assists IT and Operations with key projects, supporting data clean up, data transfer, and other key initiatives. They work within our banking systems to ensure the quality of key data that will enable the organization to be ready for Open Banking.

Differentiating Accountabilities (Duties may vary by branch location and size):

  • Provide support to IT projects, including data clean up activities.
  • Ensure quality requirements are met along with meeting established timelines for each project.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues in IT and other departments to ensure that key stakeholders are kept up-to-date with progress.
  • Identify efficiencies to the work processes, as needed.
  • Perform other assigned responsibilities.

Working Conditions: This role will primarily be based in Welland but may require travel to the other branch locations

Qualifications

  • Proficient with Microsoft technology

  • Responsible, efficient, and flexible

  • Committed to providing top quality work

  • Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Able to manage changes in deadlines or priorities

  • Collaborate easily with co-workers and works well independently

  • Strong organizational and time management skills

  • Experience in a financial institution or bank would be an asset

Additional Information

Targeted Hourly Rate: $22.00

Hourly wage will be determined based on skills, experience, education and other qualifications relevant to this position.
